Amazing! 1st Dr. Appt.

Today, we had our first doctor's appointment & it was the most amazing experience we have EVER had! We are so excited & so blessed - we got to hear the heartbeat first & Ryan literally about passed out - he was as red as he could be! It was funny! Then, we had the experience of the ultrasound & actually got to see the baby which was amazing for lack of an adequate word. Tears were streaming & I thought Ryan was going to break my hand he was squeezing & holding it so hard as we watched the baby move around, counted all ten fingers and toes, saw the nose, etc. It definitely made all of the 24 hours a day nausea & headaches worth it and validated. We can't wait and are so happy to be able to finally share the news with all of our friends and family now. We are 12.5 weeks along & are due July 14, 2007.
