I had my final baby shower back home in Waynesville, NC a couple of weeks ago. Tara (childhood friend) and Tammy (sister-in-law) threw it for me and we had it at my brother's and Tammy's house. Tammy prepared some amazing Martha Stewart like food - she inspires me for sure. :) It was great to see all my family at the shower (men and women) and some old friends too. My ballet teacher even came (just turned 85 and still teaching dance) and gave Mariah her first pair of ballet shoes for her first class. Thanks to everyone for their support and all the great gifts! I am completely ready for Mariah now as far as baby stuff goes . . . Check out the pictures from the shower.
My pregnancy is still going good. I am right at 36 weeks now so she could come anytime now and no longer be "premature." The countdown is on - only a month left til her due date. I am still doing great - a little uncomfortable with all this extra weight and strain on my back and its hard to sleep but other than that - I am just me with a baby inside. She still moves a lot and its so crazy for me to feel her move and for others to watch my stomach changing shapes as she moves around now that she is so big in there. Its truly amazing! Oh - and I guess I am still super emotional with pregnancy hormones and all - just anxious and sooooooo ready to meet my little girl! I just pray she is healthy and happy! Keep us in your prayers for a safe and fast delivery for us both!
