Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the Daddys out there - especially my Daddy, Ryan's Dad and my fabulous husband! Mariah & Mommy decided to go for something a little creative for Ryan this year . . . something he would never expect! So, we got him an electric guitar and amp - he was shocked but ecstatic! He has always wanted to learn to play but only mentioned it casually every once in a while through the years... it was time for us to help him make it happen. If anyone has any awesome ear plugs - Mariah and I might need some for the early learning stage. Ha Ha.

The Mommy is Melanie. She is originally from Waynesville, NC - went to school at UNC-Chapel Hill where she danced for the Tar Heels football & basketball, then she moved to Atlanta to become a Falcons Cheerleader. She did that for 5 seasons and ended her pro cheer and dance career as the Falcons Pro Bowl Cheerleader in 2006. Obviously, dancing is her passion. She loves her career as the Executive TV Producer & Marketing Manager for Comcast TV in Atlanta. And still enjoys being in front of the camera too modeling and acting from time to time. The Daddy is Ryan. He is from Palm Harbor, FL - had a full ride to play baseball at UNC, was drafted in the 2nd round by the Reds in 2000 and played pro ball for about 6 years. He pitched in the Big Leagues for the Texas Rangers - he is our star! He is now working in corporate office furniture sales and we are happy it keeps him home with us full time! He stays involved in baseball by serving as the Head Coach for an East Cobb 14 & under team and does such a great job with the boys.

The Mommy & Daddy met while both at UNC and started dating in 1999! After a few years of dating, they got married November 14, 2003. Their family grew when they welcomed Mariah Taylor Snare into their hearts and lives on July 10, 2007 and then Makenzie Arden Snare on May 14 2010.

The Big Sister is Mariah. She is a true Atlanta Girl - one of the few people actually from Atlanta. She is our Angel - she saved us on so many levels and continues to do so. Every day is a new experience with her and she is growing and changing so fast! She is such a happy little girl full of personality! We love her beyond words!

The Little Sister is Makenzie. Makenzie completed our family when she came into this world. She looks a lot like her Big Sister did as a newborn but we can't wait to see if she ends up looking like Mariah later and if she and Mariah are similar or totally different kids. For now, we are embracing and enjoying having a baby around again.

The Dog is Hailey. She is a Carolina Girl like her Mommy - part Akita and part German Shepherd - pretty girl. Hailey was Melanie's 21st Birthday present from Ryan. She has been a part of the family for a long time and is truly an amazing dog - everybody loves Hails.
